About

I’m Felicity (Flis) and I love to make people happy.

Based in Gloucestershire, I bring over 20 years of experience as a personal travel consultant, having managed high street stores for First Choice, Virgin and Thomas Cook before embarking on my journey as an independent advisor in 2019.

I'm surprisingly well-travelled despite an irrational fear of flying, and my extensive knowledge helps me guide clients to the perfect destinations throughout the year.

As a self-described ‘positive pants', I cherish the client journey and view all returning customers as friends who embark on fantastic trips.

Holidays are for everyone, and I recognise the uniqueness of each individual. Your time is precious, and I am 100% committed to ensuring my clients have the best experiences. My top priority is ensuring we're on the same page.

While I specialise in arranging family and celebration holidays, honeymoons, cruises, inclusive and accessible travel, I can organise most trips, including corporate travel.

You’re not just a number to me, so no matter how big or small the request, I focus on getting it done right, even if it means checking in customers at 23:45 on New Year’s Eve!

My values - integrity, respect, reliability, honesty, responsibility and transparency - form the foundation of my service.

Where I've been

My travel adventures have taken me across Europe, from the sun-kissed shores of Costa Dorada, the Costa Del Sol and the Balearic Islands, to the picturesque charm of the Canaries and Malta, and the cultural richness of Greece, Cyprus and Turkey. And, of course, I couldn't miss the magical Lapland experience.

Venturing into the captivating Middle East, I've marvelled at the underwater wonders of Sharm El Sheik and embraced the modern oasis of Dubai.

My African escapades led me to the wild landscapes of Kenya, the beauty of South Africa and the Indian Ocean paradise that is Mauritius.

Navigating through the vibrant cultures of Asia, I've delved into the historical tapestry of China, soaked up the tropical vibes of Sri Lanka, and experienced the cosmopolitan charm of Singapore.

I’ve journeyed across the vast terrains of Australia and loved the energy of Mexico; the amazing islands of the Caribbean hold a special place in my heart, from the rhythmic beats of Barbados to the serene beauty of St Lucia, Antigua, Jamaica and Grenada.

Stateside, wonderful Florida, including the fairy tales of Disney and Universal, Miami and the Keys; the golden coast of California including the scenic drives of San Diego, LA and San Francisco; plus the dazzling lights and mayhem of Las Vegas, have all been part of my American adventures.

My favourite places

South Africa is the embodiment of diversity, with its breathtaking nature, pristine beaches and a culinary scene that dances on the taste buds.

Jamaica - the true essence of the Caribbean - is captured in its scents, flavours, inviting beaches and the warmth of its people.

Disney (Florida, LA and Paris): Stepping onto Main Gate, facing the iconic castle, is like a magic reset button. It rekindles your inner child, making you feel alive, carefree and devoid of responsibility.

Sandals Resorts - Anywhere! Because who wouldn't want everything at their fingertips 24/7? I’m proud to be a Sandals specialist.

Heritage Awali in Mauritius is a laid-back haven with a stunning beach, surrounded by beauty and offering delectable cuisine.

Where I want to go...

The Maldives combines luxury and excitement for me, with its overwater bungalows and the promise of a thrilling slide into the crystal-clear sea.

Another destination that holds a special place on my travel wish list is New York. I would love to stroll through the bustling streets of the Big Apple, a dream and aspiration that fuels my determination to overcome any physical challenges.

A few of my favourite things...

Beyond the realms of travel, my life is painted with hues of love, laughter and cherished moments that make my heart sing.

From the unconditional love of my dogs (my boys!) to the joy of being a part of my godchildren's lives, and the simple pleasures of creating lasting memories - whether through a big family BBQ or a grand holiday adventure from beach sunsets all the way to Disney madness.

Oh, and let's not forget the unexpected comfort of a good old Premier Inn, home of the best beds ever – so good I bought one from them!

My priorities when booking a holiday for a client

Putting the customer first is at the heart of what I do.

It's not just about planning a holiday; it's about creating an experience that resonates with my clients. I take the time to understand preferences, testing the waters with ideas to ensure we're on the same page. Likes, dislikes and holiday priorities guide the planning process.

What drives me is the opportunity to excite, to craft moments that linger in the memory forever. As a travel agent, I find immense joy in hearing the excitement in someone’s voice before the trip, and relishing in the shared memories upon their return.

What sets me apart? I'm 100% invested. You're not just another client; you're someone I want to consider a friend by the end of your holiday. Share the small details and the big moments - keep me in the loop about your family.

My approach is warm, open and inviting. I like to be thought of as a travel 'sponge’, absorbing my client’s needs and being easily contactable. I offer flexibility that goes beyond the norm - out-of-hours support, meticulous attention to detail and organisational finesse.

What I can't travel without

An extension lead is a practical and essential travel companion for me. I always have so much to plug in, so it saves on the number of adapters I need.

My best piece of travel advice

Embrace patience during your travels.

Investing time in your holiday or getaway, without getting stressed over unforeseen circumstances, is crucial. Different cultures operate at varying paces, and it's perfectly normal.

So... relax, savour the moment, and remember – you're on holiday!
